Faimly Farm makes traditional A2 Bilona cow ghee in Jharkhand — hand-churned from cultured curd and simmered in small batches. No cream shortcuts, no blending.
Why ghee from Jharkhand?
Jharkhand's open grazing land and forest edges let our indigenous desi cows forage naturally. We work with local cattle and time-tested methods rooted in this region, and that shows up in the colour, grain and aroma of every jar.
The Bilona (Vedic) process
- Fresh A2 milk is cultured into curd.
- The curd is hand-churned to separate makkhan (butter).
- The butter is slow-cooked over a controlled flame until it becomes clear, golden ghee.
It's slower and more labour-intensive than cream-based ghee — and it's why the texture turns out grainy and the aroma rich and nutty.
Taste, colour & texture
Faimly Farm ghee has a deep golden colour, a granular set when cool, and a toasty, caramel-like aroma. A spoonful melts cleanly and carries the unmistakable character of traditionally prepared desi ghee.
Our story
We started Faimly Farm to make the kind of pure, honest ghee Jharkhand families have always prepared at home — and to make it available beyond the state. Every batch is made in small quantities so quality stays consistent.
